First post here. I work in media and With a population of 10,276, Woodlyn is a small town. Average temperature is around 57--F, so the weather is moderate. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Used to live on the Meadowbrook side, now on the Highland side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.
I've been here 3 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is better than expected.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
