We're a young couple and You can expect to pay around $1,547 for rent here. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The housing market scene is underrated
The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for retirees. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.
I've been here 7 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the pet-friendliness is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is average.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
