Working in Woodstock -salaries realistic?

I'm a teacher here and With a population of 36,297, Woodstock is a smaller city. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. Crime rate is something to consider -Woodstock sits at 116.5 per 100K. Homes are going for about $387,300 on average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What are your go-to spots? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
