Healthcare options in Woodstock?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a college student here and Rent is about $1,174/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've lived in Highland for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size
- The traffic scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in West for 11 years. Moved from LA for work. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is surprisingly good. We bought in 2017 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. Older homes are where the value is.

**Employment:**
tech is strong here. construction is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are competitive for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it was the best decision I ever made. The outdoor scene is better than expected - we have mountains within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. West schools are challenging. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Urban sprawl is real. Chain restaurants dominate. And housing market can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For young professionals, I'd say this is a 8/10. Happy to answer more specific questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Came here for family and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The housing market is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
