Is Woodstock a good place to live?

Random thought, I'm single, late 30s, and The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Woodstock sits at 189.9 per 100K. Rent is about $941/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $941 for rent here. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Am I overthinking this?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 10 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
