Planning a move to Woodville -neighborhoods?

OK so Household incomes average around $45,089 in Woodville. Average temperature is around 66--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I wrong here? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Boston about 9 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Decent public transit for the size
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are pricey, gas is excellent.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
