Anyone else feel this way? The median home value here is around $198,400, which is actually reasonable. You can expect to pay around $882 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Worth the trade-offs? Any help is appreciated.

The food scene here is better than expected. Tons of great farm-to-table places. it's been a really good experience overall.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to LA it's solid.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The walkability is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The traffic is average compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

Hot take but I genuinely enjoy living here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.
