Wooster housing prices -when will it stop?

With a population of 27,012, Wooster is a smaller city. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Worth the trade-offs? Looking forward to hearing from you all. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

I've lived in Downtown for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Affordable housing options
- The outdoor recreation scene is decent

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is food scene. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Worth doing your research before committing.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 1 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Cedar Grove side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want safety, then yeah this place is great. But if nightlife matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've lived in Eastside for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Strong job market in several industries
- The job market scene is tough

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
