Life in Worcester as a young professional

I'm a remote worker and Median household income is $67,544, which feels about average for the area. With a population of 206K, Worcester is a mid-size city. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What are your go-to spots? TIA! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in East. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in education. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Definitely worth checking out..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
