Working remotely from Worcester — my experience
I've been working remotely from Worcester for 4 years now. Here's my take:
The pace of life here is perfect for remote work. No crazy commute stress, affordable living, and enough amenities to not feel isolated.
Cost of living: pretty reasonable
Internet: Could be better but workable with a good provider
Coworking spaces: Growing number of options
If you're looking for a place to WFH, Worcester is worth considering.

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is check out the local Facebook groups for neighborhood info. Makes a big difference.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Pine Grove. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

Don't sleep on Northside. It's up and coming and still affordable.
