Rent vs buy in Worth -what makes sense?

Alright, Just moved here 7 months ago and Household incomes average around $56,998 in Worth. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What would you do? The city has invested a lot in new development.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in West. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in finance. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want safety, then yeah this place is great. But if school system matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Bought a house here in 2021 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone about the same since then.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are tough, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
