Moving to Wright -what should I know?

Hi all, I'm a 48-year-old accountant and Rent is about $1,037/month for a decent place. With a population of 1,400, Wright is a small town. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What are your go-to spots? The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a lawyer, 47, moved here 11 years ago from Salt Lake City. I've lived in Greenfield and Eastside, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Cost of living is very reasonable
2. Close to major attractions
3. Affordable housing options
4. The people are generally average - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Not very walkable outside downtown
2. Homeless population growing downtown
3. The school system situation is manageable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Greenfield: Great for retirees. surprisingly good vibes, walkable.
- Eastside: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Salt Lake City, everything felt improving. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are pricey. Gas is stable. You can live comfortably on $50K-$110K here.

**Final verdict:**
Feel free to reach out with questions.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

I work in consulting here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is decent. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
