Hi all, My family moved here when I was a kid. Poverty rate is 7.7%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $767/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Wyboo sits at 918.4 per 100K. With a population of 3,582, Wyboo is a small town. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is tough in most areas.

I've lived in Midtown for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities
- The healthcare scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Chain restaurants dominate
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
