Housing market in Wyncote right now

Curious what people think. Just moved here 16 months ago and The median home value here is around $429,000, which is pretty steep. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What are your go-to spots?

I've lived in Greenfield for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Strong job market in several industries
- The pet-friendliness scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Denver about 9 years ago. The main reasons were work and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Decent public transit for the size

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are affordable, gas is underrated.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Definitely worth checking out..
