Unpopular opinion about Wyndmoor

Hello, Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. Median household income is $142,583, which feels pretty solid for the area. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Am I overthinking this? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I've lived in East for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Active local events and festivals
- Good airport with direct flights
- The school system scene is tough

The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for retirees. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want traffic, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
