Anyone else love living in Wyoming?

Longtime lurker here, Born and raised here. The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $72,163, which feels about average for the area. Poverty rate is 8.7%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $72,163 in Wyoming. With a population of 76,865, Wyoming is a smaller city. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Pros:
- Friendly people
- Close to nature
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Far from major airports
- Not enough green space
Has anyone dealt with this? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from San Diego about 10 years ago. The main reasons were work and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is underrated.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
