Why I chose Wyoming over bigger cities

I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $1,141/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,141 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What are your go-to spots? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to.

I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The public transit is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Feel free to reach out with questions..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Cedar Grove for 9 years. Moved from Dallas for work. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is pretty good. We bought in 2018 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.

**Employment:**
education is strong here. healthcare is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are reasonable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I'm still on the fence after all this time. The outdoor scene is better than expected - we have ski resorts within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Cedar Grove schools are excellent. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited public transit options. Limited high-paying job options. And healthcare can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For couples, I'd say this is a 8/10. Happy to answer more specific questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Worth doing your research before committing.

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.
