Wyoming quality of life -am I missing something?

Born and raised here. Rent is about $1,319/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I've lived in South for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- The school system scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Urban sprawl is real

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. Happy to answer more specific questions..
