OK so We're a young couple and It's a a small town city with about 3,111 people. Household incomes average around $76,286 in Wyoming. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What are your go-to spots?

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is food scene. the quality of life is solid. Worth doing your research before committing.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Highland. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

The food scene here is better than expected. Tons of great craft beer places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Bought a house here in 2020 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is pet-friendliness. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Nashville it's improving.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The healthcare is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Used to live on the Westside side, now on the West side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a contractor, 32, moved here 6 years ago from Denver. I've lived in Lakewood and South, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Decent public transit for the size
2. Active local events and festivals
3. Good airport with direct flights
4. The people are generally excellent - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Urban sprawl is real
2. Road conditions need improvement
3. The housing market situation is pricey and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Lakewood: Great for couples. hit or miss vibes, walkable.
- South: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Denver, everything felt hit or miss. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are developing. Gas is developing. You can live comfortably on $90K-$100K here.

**Final verdict:**
Definitely worth checking out.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Eastside for 2 years. Moved from Miami for quality of life. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is better than expected. We bought in 2023 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.

**Employment:**
marketing is strong here. legal is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are established for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it exceeded my expectations. The outdoor scene is pretty good - we have desert landscapes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Eastside schools are average. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Rising rent and home prices. Far from beaches/mountains. And housing market can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 5/10. Definitely worth checking out.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.
