Been meaning to ask this. I'm a college student here and Poverty rate is 13.1%, which is around average. Crime rate is something to consider -Xenia sits at 274.8 per 100K. With a population of 25,555, Xenia is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $147,300 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
