Commute times in Yakima -how bad?

So, My family moved here when I was a kid. Median household income is $59,228, which feels about average for the area. Homes are going for about $273,400 on average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Does this match your experience? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Internet is pretty good in most areas.
