My family moved here when I was a kid. The median home value here is around $273,400, which seems about average. Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What do you all think? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.
I've been here 1 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is underrated.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Cedar Grove side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
