Things Yale needs to improve

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Rent is about $779/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 45--F, so expect cold winters. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Has anyone dealt with this? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development.

We moved here with our family and the quality of life is solid. Schools in Downtown area are tough. Kids love it here.

I'm a nurse and I've found I love the pace of life here. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

Used to live on the Downtown side, now on the Fairview side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.
