Anyone else love living in Yarmouth?

Anyone else feel this way? We have two kids and Poverty rate is 12.5%, which is around average. It's a a small town city with about 6,293 people. Average temperature is around 46--F, so expect cold winters. Homes are going for about $506,300 on average. You can expect to pay around $1,694 for rent here. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Pros:
- Growing food scene
- Lots of new development
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Limited public transit
- Poor road conditions
- Chain restaurants dominate
Has anyone dealt with this? Cheers. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The traffic is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Chicago about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Decent public transit for the size
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are reasonable, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
