Anyone else love living in Yarmouth Port?

Curious what people think. Just moved here 4 months ago and You can expect to pay around $1,636 for rent here. Poverty rate is 4.7%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $108,563, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I wrong here? The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from New York about 12 years ago. The main reasons were weather and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good internet infrastructure
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are manageable, gas is excellent.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Feel free to reach out with questions..
