Moving to Yeadon for work -advice?

The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Nashville about 4 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Affordable housing options
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are growing, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Good luck with whatever you decide..
