What I wish I knew before living in York

Hi all, I work in education and Crime rate is something to consider -York sits at 412.9 per 100K. Rent is about $738/month for a decent place. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are decent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..
