I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The school system is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall No regrets on my end..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Minneapolis about 2 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Can feel isolated
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are established, gas is average.
Socially, the quality of life is solid. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
