York job market vs Baltimore

OK so Homes are going for about $103,100 on average. With a population of 44,830, York is a smaller city. You can expect to pay around $958 for rent here. The median home value here is around $103,100, which is actually reasonable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Should I be concerned? The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is challenging in most areas.
