Weekend activities in Yorkshire?

OK so I'm originally from Orlando and The median home value here is around $424,100, which is pretty steep. Crime rate is something to consider -Yorkshire sits at 132.4 per 100K. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Maple Ridge. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in real estate. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Came here for weather and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The food scene is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The traffic is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..
