Is Youngstown good for remote workers?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Just moved here 4 months ago and Homes are going for about $58,400 on average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value job market, you'll love it. The pet-friendliness is genuinely average and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (North) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Austin, be prepared for the culture shock. community vibe is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
