The good and bad of living in Yucaipa
Hey folks, I'm a 31-year-old marketing manager and Homes are going for about $466,000 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Yucaipa sits at 370.6 per 100K. Median household income is $92,401, which feels pretty solid for the area. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Any advice would be great. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
