I've been here for 17 years and The median home value here is around $41,900, which is actually reasonable. Average temperature is around 72--F, so it's warm year-round. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. Worth the trade-offs? The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
