OK so I work in government and Rent is about $1,635/month for a decent place. With a population of 31,442, Zionsville is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $543,800 on average. The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Any advice would be great. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is solid in most areas.

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are affordable. You get used to it after the first year.

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say I love the pace of life here. The public transit is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Boston it's better than expected.

Bought a house here in 2021 and it was the best decision I ever made. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
