What Zwolle does better than anywhere else

Hey folks, Just moved here 15 months ago and With a population of 1,961, Zwolle is a small town. Poverty rate is 30.8%, which is higher than I expected. The unemployment rate is 4.6%, which is about average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Westside. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in consulting. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
