Broadmoor Hotel There was once a fire in this hotel. Guests have claimed to hear the ghosts of the fire victims. - February 2007 Correction: A former worker reports there never was a fire in the Broadmoor Hotel. However, that isn't to say that there aren’t any ghosts. There are several stories in which employees late at night have seen a woman dressed in 1920s clothing walking around the main Hotel. Days Inn Airport - There is an older gentleman that haunts room 207 at the Days Inn-Airport. There have been reports of cold spots, curtains opening and closing and "thumping" when no other guests are present. Hotel staff knows about him and the housekeepers don't like to clean that room without at least two others nearby.
The old Ft. Carson hospital/mental clinic The old hospital and other surrounding buildings in this area were built around 1941, after the attack on Pearl Harbor. In the 40's there were a lot of German and Italian POW's located on Ft. Carson.
