Been meaning to ask this. Just moved here 6 months ago and The unemployment rate is 5.3%, which is about average. Homes are going for about $223,000 on average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Has anyone dealt with this? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
