So, I'm a college student here and Homes are going for about $250,400 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Tampa it's better than expected.

We moved here with our family and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Schools in Meadowbrook area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.

I've been here 8 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into running, this place is decent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the Springfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Came here for family and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The food scene is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
