Co-working spaces in Altoona?

Average temperature is around 47--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Altoona sits at 607.9 per 100K. Homes are going for about $113,600 on average. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Strong job market in several industries
- The walkability scene is decent

The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. Hope this helps!.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 8 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
