Couple moving to Amsterdam from out of state
Not sure if this has been asked before, but My family moved here when I was a kid. You can expect to pay around $955 for rent here. With a population of 18,162, Amsterdam is a small town. Median household income is $50,193, which feels on the lower side for the area. Rent is about $955/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Appreciate any input. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
