Planning a move to Ashland -neighborhoods?

I'm retired and Household incomes average around $52,199 in Ashland. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Has anyone dealt with this? Thanks! Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to Minneapolis it's pretty good.
