Is Auburn good for remote workers?

My partner and I are It's a a small town city with about 13,464 people. Rent is about $831/month for a decent place. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Has anyone dealt with this?

Bought a house here in 2020 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
