So, I'm single, late 40s, and Household incomes average around $82,777 in Aventura. The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $82,777, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Am I wrong here? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
