How are the schools in Aventura?

I've been here for 16 years and The median home value here is around $416,300, which is pretty steep. Household incomes average around $82,777 in Aventura. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Would love some local perspective. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from San Diego about 12 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Four distinct seasons
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are affordable, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Feel free to reach out with questions..
