What surprised you most about Aventura?
Hi all, I've been here for 8 years and Crime rate is something to consider -Aventura sits at 180.4 per 100K. The median home value here is around $416,300, which is pretty steep. With a population of 39,372, Aventura is a smaller city. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
Pros:

- Boring for young people
- Not enough green space
Has anyone dealt with this? The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
