Thinking about relocating to Avocado Heights from Pittsburgh

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Just moved here 3 months ago and Poverty rate is 8.3%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $2,002 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Avocado Heights sits at 335.1 per 100K. Household incomes average around $95,000 in Avocado Heights. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Bought a house here in 2019 and I love the pace of life here. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, the quality of life is solid. No regrets on my end..
