Bardstown housing prices -when will it stop?

Been meaning to ask this. My family moved here when I was a kid. The median home value here is around $190,800, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $917/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I wrong here?

Hot take but I have mixed feelings honestly. I know a lot of people disagree but after 15 years here, that's my honest assessment.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Midtown. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in marketing. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in government. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
