Best companies to work for in Bardstown?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but We're a young couple and It's a a small town city with about 13,673 people. The median home value here is around $190,800, which is actually reasonable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Should I be concerned?

I've lived in Springfield for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good healthcare facilities
- The safety scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. Definitely worth checking out..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Tampa and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Pine Hills. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in engineering. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

No regrets on my end..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from San Francisco about 14 years ago. The main reasons were school and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is excellent.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Hope this helps!.
