Is Bardstown walkable?

I've been here for 12 years and Household incomes average around $49,781 in Bardstown. Average temperature is around 57--F, so the weather is moderate. Median household income is $49,781, which feels on the lower side for the area. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Does this match your experience? The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Maple Ridge. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in government. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Eastside. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in government. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is healthcare. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Worth doing your research before committing.
