Moving to Bargaintown with kids -good idea?

So, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and You can expect to pay around $2,320 for rent here. Poverty rate is 5.2%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Bought a house here in 2017 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone about the same since then.

My experience has been mostly positive. I'm still on the fence after all this time. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I've lived in Eastside for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The job market scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. Good luck with whatever you decide..
